Kingston Links GC could turn into sustainable home estate
Rowville’s Kingston Links Golf Course could be developed into a “sustainable” housing estate, with developer The Pask Group revealing plans for up to 800 houses, plus parks and cafes.
The plans for the 67ha flood-prone site were revealed earlier this week by the Leader and comes shortly after news that Waverley Golf Club in Bergins Rd wants to develop its course into a dwelling estate.
Pask Group marketing manager Marcus Hancock said they wanted to turn the golf course into “a nice sustainable family environment”.
“There will be parks and cafes; it will make a nice place for people to live,” Mr Hancock said.
An application to rezone the site from special use to general residential is being reviewed by Knox Council.
