NZ: Millbrook Resort expands Cornet 9 to an 18hole layout

POSTED ON January 3, 2022 @ 10:49 am

Millbrook Resort is set to open its new course to the public on Monday which takes the existing Coronet nine hole to 18 holes.

Alongside its Remarkables 18 course, Millbrook is one of only two golf courses in New Zealand to offer two distinctly different 18-hole courses.

The course was designed by golf pro Greg Turner and Scott Macpherson and is described as ‘a golfer’s dream’.

Designer Greg Turner said the course encompasses all there is to offer in the Wakatipu Basin and is a more modern version of previous courses.

” anticipate the new Coronet 18 par-five 11th hole looking towards Coronet Peak will become one of the most photographed holes in New Zealand.”

Turner said golfers and spectators alike will be able to enjoy a range of spectacular vistas with 360-degree views of Coronet Peak and The Remarkables mountain ranges.
