Pacific Golf Club lodges DA for facility upgrades
A development application has been lodged for a Miniature Golf Course and Short Course Practice Range, located at the Pacific Golf Club at 420 Pine Mountain Road, Carindale.
Designed by Kruse Golf, the proposal seeks to provide additional outdoor sport and recreation facilities to support the existing use of the golf course. The proposed miniature golf course and short course practice range is to be located in proximity to the existing Golf Clubhouse & Retirement Village
The proposal seeks to replace the displaced practice areas in an allocated area of the existing golf course with convenient access to the new clubhouse and car park.
Development Details
– 18 Hole Miniature Golf Course
– 70m Short Course Practice Range
– 15 bays for the practice range (15m high nets)
– New pathways
– Landscaping.
According to the planners at Town Planning Alliance state, “Each area has been suitably placed to limit interference with the existing golf course. Furthermore, the current parking supply on the site is considered sufficient to cater for the existing Club and golf course as well as the proposed uses. We note that the practice areas are already on the site and work in conjunction with the approved golf course. As such, there is no expected parking demand for the associated practice areas”.
