The role

The brand new Minnippi Golf & Range are seeking a contracted PGA Teaching Professional to provide golfing tuition services to patrons of the facilities. The PGA Professional will join our team on a contractual agreement to be negotiated with the successful golf professional.

In Q3 2023, Minnippi Golf & Range will open, and we know there will be a high demand for Private Coaching, Woman’s Golf Clinics, Junior Golf Clinics and Junior School Holiday Programs.

About us

Minnippi Golf & Range is a public golfing facility owned by the Brisbane City Council and managed by Clublinks Management Pty Ltd.

Consisting of an 18-hole golf course, a stunning practice facility with 20 bays, four grass bays and a large practice putting and short game area, Minnippi Golf & Range is a fantastic public golf course indulged in nature parklands and is located just15 minutes from the Brisbane CBD.

This incredibly exciting opportunity is for a dynamic, highly skilled and motivated PGA Professional to drive the growth of participation coaching numbers at the course and on the range.

We are happy to work with the right candidate to support them whilst growing the coaching profile and if required, employed golf operation hours in the golf shop can be offered to the PGA Professional.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and administer the Minnippi Golf Coaching.
  • Provide Professional tuition on a daily basis.
  • Develop and administer coaching member and visitor coaching engagement programs.
  • Customer service in the Golf Shop in non-teaching hours.

About you

You will have:

  • Certified PGA Professional Advanced in Coaching
  • Private tuition with experienced golfers and people new to the game
  • Coaching of a clinics of group types
  • Pro/Golf Shop customer service
  • Have strong knowledge in technology usage.
  • Be self-motivated and willing to work as part of a team.
  • Be able to work flexible hours and required times including weekends.
  • Have the ability to interact with a diverse group of people.
  • Have outstanding people and service skills.
  • Have excellent presentation attributes.
  • Have strong communication skills.
  • Have a high level of computer literacy.
  • Have the capacity to perform the requirements of the role with a minimum level of supervision.
  • First Aid certificate
  • Current Working with Children check
  • RSA
  • Valid Police Check
