JOB: Operations Team Member – St Andrews Beach Golf Course

Australia’s best mainland public access golf course is now complemented by the opening of our new Golf Operations Centre which will further elevate our customer’s first-class golfing experience.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Team Member is an integral member of our customer-facing team and will effectively deliver activities in support of a customer-focused culture.
Candidates will be highly motivated individuals eager to carry out a multi-faceted role involving activity in Golf Operations – administration & service, Retail, Food & Beverage service. They must be prepared to work collaboratively as part of a team delivering a consistent positive experience for our customers in line with Quality Plan deliverables and be diligent in following policy and procedures.
Knowledge of golf and exposure to food and beverage service is preferred, however extensive training will be provided to a candidate who presents with a commitment to learning and a willingness to follow policy and procedure. Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation is a pre-requisite for this position.
The position is a full-time role, with rotating rosters across 7 days with hours of operation ranging from dawn to dusk. Casual and part-time roles may be considered for suitable candidates.
The Role
The Operations Team Member reports to the Operations Manager, and attends to:
- Golf Operations administration & service
- Opening and closing the Operations Centre, before and after use, inclusive of minor housekeeping
- Time sheet management and front counter service
- Co-ordination of golf activity (1st tee control, course marshalling, cart fleet management)
- Implementing and supporting Operational Policy and Procedures
- Managing payments from customers
- Managing future tee bookings and payments
- Competition management
- Group bookings (social and corporate)
- Assisting to deliver customers a consistent and first class facility experience
- Retail
- Selling of Merchandise
- Presenting the retail space in a clean and effective manner
- Assisting in stock control / ordering
- Food & Beverage
- Front of house service (order delivery, dry bar and barista activities) inclusive of minor housekeeping
- Assisting back of house team
- Assisting in stock control/ordering
