The golf course and pro shop were established in 1996 and have always been regarded as the most challenging golf course in the ACT. The course has always been very sustainable and reliable with its year-round playing conditions.

The current local demographic is having a large boom in population which has a planned long-term population expansion. The pro shop is regarded as the main golf retail shop in the ACT.

Other options:

  • expansion of indoor fitting/coaching studio
  • Expand retail space.

The golf course proshop and facilities are open 364 days a year operating from 6am-5/7pm each day.

Lease

The current lease is in place till 2039 and the option to renew is first initiated by the leaseholder owner/operator.

Employees

Staffing arrangements:

  • 1 X FULL TIME CONTRACTED TEACHING PROFESSIONAL
  • 2X PART TIME
  • 4X CASUAL

These staff members would continue on with the new owner.

About the Business

This thriving golf shop is the best in ACT with no real competition. The business is bulletproof with numerous guaranteed income sources and endless opportunities to create more with a very strong membership and very busy public usage.

There are modern extremely easy-to-use systems in place for all administration and business operations for maximum efficiency. Unlike most pro shops the business owner is not managed by any committees and has the freedom to operate the entire golf operations as they see fit.

With minimal operating overheads and NO RENT, this money-making machine is ready for a new operator to thrive into a very profitable future.

For those in the know this a rare opportunity and unlikely there are any similar business models in Australia. The business owner owns the assets and keeps the profit.
