Job: Sales & Product Specialist (Brisbane Office) – Centaur Asia Pacific ($80-100k)

Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our team and for a suitably experienced person to grow our business in Queensland.

Your Role:

  • Will be to build demand for Centaur’s range of products.
  • Grow sales in established and new market sectors.
  • Travel as required within the state and interstate on occasions with time away from home to expand our sales base.
  • Will include selling direct to clients and working with installers to sell our products.
  • Train and supervise our product installations

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Be confident to present and demonstrate our products at field days to industry groups.
  • High levels of organisational capability in a rapidly changing environment.
  • IT Competence and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective, trust-based relationships.
  • You will have experience with administrative processes including quoting jobs, preparing daily reports and budgeting.

  • Be an active and effective team member, contributing to ideas and the growth of the company.
  • Ability to train, supervise and manage product installations. (hands-on required from time to time).

Like to have skills:

  • Minimum 10 years experience in Sports turf management and/or golf course construction-related roles.
  • Certificate 3 or Diploma of Sports Turf Management.
  • Certificates in machinery operation would be advantageous (tractors, skid steer, excavator).
  • Experience or competency in ACAD/GPS systems for map software.
  • Experience and proficiency with CRM systems and QuickBooks
  • Previous sales role experience.
