(WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.) – Greg Norman Golf Course Design (GNGCD) — the premier signature golf course design firm in the world — announces Jeff Danner as its new Senior Design Associate.

In his role, Danner will oversee and assist with domestic redesign and renovation projects as well as international business development. With a decade of experience in the golf course design industry, Danner’s extensive resume includes architect positions with Golfplan Dale & Ramsey and Lohmann Golf Designs. Danner received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign where he also completed an Independent Study on Sustainable Golf Course Architecture.

Danner has also completed the European Institute of Golf Course Architects Post Graduate Diploma Course, where he studied some of Europe’s oldest and most prestigious courses, and is currently an Associate Member of the EICGA. Danner’s travels have exposed him to golf markets in over 25 countries.

Established in 1987, Greg Norman Golf Course Design spans the globe with 100 courses opened across six continents and in 34 countries. Greg Norman’s “least-disturbance approach” design philosophy creates golf courses that blend seamlessly with their surrounding environment and enhance the properties’ natural features.

“Jeff’s vast international experience in the golf course design industry will be a valuable addition to our already stellar design team,” says Greg Norman. “As we embark on the journey to reach another 100 courses, we look forward to seeing Jeff’s creativity and vision come to life in our design offerings.”

“I am passionate about growing the game and making golf accessible for everyone to enjoy, so joining the GNGCD team and having such a huge platform is an incredible opportunity,” said Danner. “My design philosophy syncs perfectly with Greg’s in that I strive to maintain a strict sense of environmental awareness and sensitivity while implementing creative strategy to stimulate the mind and engage golfers of all abilities.”

GNGCD was honored in 2016 with five of its international courses named to Golf Digest’s “World’s 100 Greatest” list including No. 29 Ellerston (Australia), No. 30 New South Wales G.C. (Australia), No. 74 The Bluffs Ho Tram Strip (Vietnam), No. 84 Nirwana (Bali) and No. 97. Jumeirah Golf Estates Earth Course (UAE).
