JOB: Food & Beverage Manager – Sandhurst Club
This is a compelling opportunity for a suitably experienced hospitality professional to elevate the Sandhurst Club experience to the next level, and beyond.
Located in Melbourne’s thriving southeast, Sandhurst Club is one of Australia’s largest lifestyle and residential communities. It boasts two championship golf courses; health club with fully equipped gym and indoor pool; sports centre with tennis and basketball courts; a clubhouse providing hospitality and events; and a residential community of over 1,300 homes.
Hospitality and event activities are significant. Club members, residents, and visitors enjoy food and beverage experiences across 3 outlets every day- Members’ Bar, Hillview Restaurant, and the recently opened Heydays pizzeria. Group celebrations and weddings are held in modern and flexible function rooms. An on-course food and beverage service is provided on selected days.
We are now seeking to appoint a Food & Beverage Manager, to join the club’s executive leadership team. Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the delivery of all hospitality experiences, with the aim to elevate the Sandhurst Club experience to the next level, and beyond; after all the club’s vision is to ‘be the premier golfing and residential community in Australia’.
Your priorities will be to develop, lead and support the hospitality team; ensure the best hospitality experiences across all outlets and services; and deliver operating efficiencies, profit, and strategic plan activities.
To be considered for the role you are likely to possess the following attributes:
- Inspiring leadership, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer experiences by a high-performing team.
- Committed to customers, with a passion for influencing and delivering the best food and beverage experiences.
- Proven hospitality management experience, within contemporary environments, delivering efficient operations, and profit.
It is essential that you are a friendly, independent and highly motivated person with good communication and personal skills that match the club’s values, and culture.
A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate, commensurate with the role and your credentials.
