59club is revered by some of the world’s best golf clubs and facilities.

This is a compelling opportunity to establish, develop and earn equity in 59club’s expansion to Australia and New Zealand.

About

59club is a global leader in the provision of customer service analysis, offering mystery shopper audits, pioneering survey software, financial benchmarking, and employee training programs within the golf, leisure, spa, hospitality, and hotel industries.  It provides the insights and resources for organisations to improve and maintain a sales and service etiquette, in turn increasing customer satisfaction, revenue, and profit.

Established in 2007, with headquarters based in the United Kingdom, 59club has successfully expanded its operations to continental Europe, the Middle East, Asia, the United States, and Canada.  It is now establishing its successful business in Australia and New Zealand.

We are seeking to appoint a General Manager to introduce and expand 59club across Australia and New Zealand, initially in golf, and then beyond. This role is a compelling opportunity to join this trail-blazing organisation, managing a portfolio of partner venues across Australia and New Zealand.

The General Manager is the face of the local 59club division, so you must be a great communicator, confident in the analysis and presentation of data, and with the ability to proactively source new opportunities and forge lasting relationships.

Your priorities will be to:

  • Proactively manage relationships, contracts, and outcomes with key stakeholders.
  • Seek opportunities to establish and develop the footprint of 59club.
  • Create and deliver bespoke training content to partner venues.

To be considered for the role you are likely to possess the following attributes:

  • Committed to service excellence, with a passion for influencing and delivering the best customer experiences.
  • Recognise the value of performance insights, including managing, interpreting, and presenting large quantities of data.
  • Effective leadership, with experience in the creation and delivery of training programmes.
  • Demonstrated record of delivering KPI’s, including financial and business development.

It is essential that you are a friendly, independent, and highly motivated person with good communication and personal skills that match 59club’s values.  A PGA accreditation, and a strong network within golf, are both highly regarded.

An incentivised remuneration package commensurate with the role, with potential for equity ownership in the Australia & New Zealand business, will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
