JOB: General Manager – The Lakes Golf Club (NSW)
The Lakes Golf Club, an icon of the Australian golf scene and venue for 7 Australian Opens, is seeking a standout candidate to replace our departing long serving (8 years) General Manager.
The role
Reporting to the Board, this key role will be responsible for the planning and delivery of critical strategic objectives identified in the 5 Year Plan as well as overseeing the successful delivery of the day-to-day operations of the Club.
Overall leadership responsibilities will include golf course management, golf operations, food and beverage services, financial administration, membership management, corporate client events management, the fostering of key external industry relationships and our ongoing commitment to the promotion of golf.
The Candidate
We are seeking an outstanding executive who can demonstrate a genuine record of sound team leadership achievement within the golf industry or a similar service organisation.
The successful candidate will also demonstrate a strong commitment towards member communication and member relationships plus expertise in the key areas of, information technology, financial planning, corporate relationship programs and exposure to major event staging.
An appropriate market related salary and benefits package will be offered to the preferred candidate.
