JOB: Golf Operations Assistant – Elanora Country Club

Situated in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Elanora Country Club is an exclusive Members’ Club established in 1928.

The Club features an 18-hole golf course, a range of first-class sporting facilities and private accommodation for the enjoyment of the Club’s members, their guests and reciprocal Club members. This a unique opportunity to join the progressive and motivated team of this highly regarded Club and further your career in Golf Operations.

The role represents an exciting opportunity for a full-time Golf Operations Assistant or current PGA Associate to work within the golf operations and retail services at the Club.

Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager, key responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Managing day-to-day operations of the Golf Shop in line with The Club’s policies and procedures
Provide exceptional Member experience in line with the Club’s values
Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation of the Golf Shop
Golf Shop retail, merchandising and inventory control
Competition and timesheet management
Assist with Golf Club repairs
Assist with the management of the Club Golf Cart fleet and member club storage
Assist with the delivery of coaching programs as required

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

An understanding of golf competitions and administration
A passion for providing excellent customer service, displaying an enthusiastic can-do attitude
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Organised, punctual, and reliable
Immaculate presentation and professional standards
Flexibility on working days including weekends and public holidays
