NZ: Quick preview of the new Sir Bob Charles Golf Centre

Heller Golf Ltd is currently developing the driving range at Clearwater to provide golfers of all levels access to high-quality coaching and club fitting, at a leading Canterbury golf resort.

Utilising an effective partnership with a golf club fitting studio builder, Heller Golf Ltd is constructing a driving range and teaching centre, capable of providing undercover and all-weather teaching and club fitting. The facility will be of the highest standard available in New
Zealand, adding to Clearwater Golf Resorts’ strong brand positioning.

Bearing the name of our golfing knight, The Sir Bob Charles Golf Centre will provide high-level teaching and fitting services across a full range of golfers. Beginners, club golfers and the elite will be catered for in a state-of-the-art facility, incorporating the latest technology and
teaching techniques.

The facility will also provide fitting services to ensure players are using the equipment best
suited to their game, to help them improve.

The facility will be publicly accessible, with an 18-bay driving range. The facility will operate with Trackman Range and will have several notable features for golfers to utilise in their practice.

About Heller Golf
Todd Heller is the founder of Hellers, one of this country’s largest producer and suppliers of meat products across New Zealand. The company produces sausages, bacon, burgers, meatballs, kebabs, deli meats, ham and other food products and retails them through
various supermarkets and food service markets.

Todd has developed a new company, Heller Golf Ltd, with a focus on golf. Dave Saunders has been engaged to develop and manage the Sir Bob Charles Golf Centre on behalf of Heller Golf. Dave’s experience in golf stems from 15 years in the Golf Industry in Australia, with management positions in high-end golf resorts providing the necessary experience and knowledge to ensure Heller Golf’s Driving Range development is not just an outstanding recreation centre but commercially viable as well.

The Golf Company has committed to managing the facility for the first three years of its operation to ensure standards and quality are maintained.
