POSTED ON December 14, 2023 @ 6:16 pm

The Royal Sydney Golf Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Des Mulcahy as Chief Executive
Officer.

Des brings a wealth of experience to Royal Sydney gained through roles in hospitality, finance and marketing
in both Australia and the UK and, most recently, the past 12 years as General Manager of Tattersalls Club in
Sydney.

Royal Sydney President Lucy Regan said that, following an extensive recruitment search, Des’s knowledge,
experience and personal attributes proved to be the ideal fit as Club CEO.

“During his time at Tattersalls Club, Des has been instrumental in growing the club through the creation of a
clear vision and strategic plan as well as focusing on enhancing the overall experience at the club,” Mrs
Regan said.

“He possesses strong leadership skills, creativity and an engaging and personable manner, with a passion
for sport and a willingness to embrace a challenge.”

“These traits combined with his rich professional experience will no doubt see Des excel in his role at Royal
Sydney as the Club undergoes exciting developments in the years ahead.”

Des Mulcahy will formally join Royal Sydney in mid-January 2024.
