SEEKING: Administration Assistant Bookkeeper

Administration Assistant /Bookkeeper – Casual
Wynnum Golf Club is located in beautiful bayside Brisbane and meanders over 31 hectares of picturesque parkland. The Club has established itself as a central and vital part of the local community.
We are currently seeking an Administration Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our administration team. This casual position would suit a highly motivated person with a flexible can do attitude. It is envisaged that this position would entail between 20 and 25 hours per week.
The specific tasks and responsibilities of this position include:
 General Administration – Phone answering, filing and database management, meeting and greeting clients, general admin, attending to member’s enquiries and office support.
 Board Secretarial – Agenda compilation, taking and publishing of Board/Management Committee meeting minutes
 Golf Administration – Finalising competitions & timesheet management
 General bookkeeping duties including account payable and receivable, payroll processing, bank reconciliation, preparation of monthly financial reports, BAS preparation and PAYG payment summary preparation.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of either the game of golf or golf administration, bookkeeping/accounts, along with excellent customer service skills & immaculate presentation. Previous experience using Micropower Club software would be an advantage.
As the Club operates on a seven day basis the successful applicant must be able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
